Ivana Rackov


Born in Belgrade in 1978. Graduated from Design high school in Belgrade, 1996, and Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade, 2003, on the ceramics department.
Status of the independent artist achieved in 2005. Member of the ULUPUDS since 2006. Participated in over 60 group exhibitions in Serbia and abroad,
as well as in three ceramic workshops in Serbia. Winner of the audience award at the mug exhibition "White only", 2006,  and recieved a second prize for work on the mug exhibition "Black and White" in 2008, held at ULUPUDS gallery in Belgrade.

Her main concern is the usable ceramics with a focus on flatware ceramic, which is mainly produced on potter's wheel. In her work, the most common technique is stoneware, as well as porcelain which occurs mostly in jewelry production.
Lives and works in Belgrade.
